Friends and Family Night will be held at the Eastwood Early Childhood Center on February 26, 2015 as part of the FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS! Come at 5:00 pm for a light dinner to check out children's artwork, and visit classrooms. We will meet in the gym at 6:00 pm. ONCE UPON A TUBA TALE! Through storytelling with giant books, puppetry and music, Tuba Tales will tickle the mind and entice you to imagine, create, and READ. You can participate in dramatic play with stories and music, and help create an impromptu adventure tale. The goal of Tuba Tales is two-fold: to encourage children to develop and increase an excitement for reading and writing, and to inspire children to have confidence with their own imagination and creativity. As an added bonus, the stories chosen for the assembly will also convey an anti-bullying message. Join the fun with family and friends. Exercise your own creativity, and wake up your imagination with an evening of music, reading, and fun. This event is appropriate for all ages. Parental supervision required.
