ZTA's Breast Friends Color Run is an event for all ages! Walk, run, jog, trott, etc. your way through the course. It is an untimed event and there will be color zones throughout the course where participants will be doused in color!

All proceeds go to the ZTA Foundation. The ZTA Foundation champions many worthy programs and projects dedicated to improving the lives of women. The ZTA Foundation joins in the fight against breast cancer through support of the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks and through a partnership with Bright Pink, a nonprofit focused on prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer. ZTA also has a partnership with the National Football League (NFL) for it's "A Crucial Catch" game.

If you are registering before October 1, 2016 it is only $22.00, after October 1, 2016 it is $25.00.

Registration includes a t-shirt and color packet only if you register before October 1, 2016!

Grand Rapids Veterans Home Donation Drive

From 9:00AM to 4:30PM

Donations can be dropped off at the Mecosta County Senior Center, 12954 80th Ave. Mecosta. If coming for the lunch program,please make your reservation by Wednesday, November 9th at 231-972-2884. $3.00 for 60 and over $5.00 under 60 Our veterans eat free of charge.

12th Annual Dinner and Auction

From 4:00PM to 8:00PM

EVERYONE is invited as Chippewa Lake Community Church presents their 12th annual Dinner and Auction on Saturday October 15, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Barryton Community Building, which is approximately 7 miles east of Chippewa Lake at 3265 20 Mile Rd. (Chippewa Lake Rd.), Barryton, MI Dinner includes pork with potatoes and gravy, salad, vegetable, roll, beverage, and dessert. Adults: $8.00 Children Ages 5-12: $4.00 Children 4 and under: FREE The Live Auction begins at 6 p.m. and everyone is welcome to attend just the auction, just the dinner, or BOTH! Auctioneer is Andy Lattimore. All auction items must be paid for and picked up by the end of the evening. There may also be a 50/50 drawing. This always a FUN event and very entertaining whether you get some great bargains or not. Donations of non-clothing items are appreciated. A storage unit is available for donations for the auction. If you can, please take a photo of donated items to be used for publicity on the CLCC Facebook Event. RACE to end HIV; 5k Walk/Run

Central Michigan District Health Department (CMDHD) is committed to the belief that all people have dignity and worth and are entitled to the highest quality of life by providing a voice, leadership, education, medical, and support services for those people affected and living with HIV/AIDS.

Race to end HIV 5k Walk/Run event is aimed to raise funds to help people who have been diagnosed and living with HIV/AIDS within the state of Michigan. The program provides comprehensive support, HIV/AIDS are, case management, and referrals to address needs such as insurance issues, primary medical care, food, housing, transportation and counseling.

This year's fundraiser is a Governor's Council endorsed competitive 5K chip timed run or a 5K walk held on CMU's Campus on Saturday, October 15th, 2016. Participants from throughout the community of all ages and ability levels are welcome. This is a family friendly event and a great opportunity to help spread awareness and reduce stigma about HIV.
