Big Rapids Jaycees Annual Warm Clothes, Warm Kids Children's Warm Clothing Drive.
November 5, 2012 - December 14, 2012.
All donations are distributed within our community. Only NEW or gently used clothing will be accepted.
Winter Jackets, Snow Pants, Hats, Boots, Gloves, Scarves, Wool Socks, Sweaters, Footed PJ's.
All clothing will be donated to our local PROJECT STARBURST and WISE.

Swiss Steak Dinner at New Hope Church |
Swiss Steak Dinner at New Hope United Methodist Church in Mecosta from 4:30pm-6:30pm.
All-you-can-eat meal includes tender swiss steak with gravy, 'real' mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans, cole slaw, cottage cheese, pears, peaches, homemade pies and cakes, soft-serve ice cream and beverages, all for $9, children 12 and under FREE when accompanied by an adult.
New Hope is located at 7296 9 Mile Road in Mecosta.
Hope to see you there for a tasty, home-cooked meal! Take outs are available.

27th Annnual Holiday Gala and Fundraiser |
Celebrate an old-fashioned Christmas with the Mecosta County Area Chamber of Commerce!
Located at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center, 1005 Perry Ave., Big Rapids.
Featuring a buffet-style dinner of prime rib and turkey carving stations and traditional holiday trimmings, a salad bar, and a variety of desserts. This event features dinner, dancing, networking, a live auction, raffles, and more!
Tickets: $60 each or $100 per couple.
Table of ten: $600. Package also includes a business listing in the program and recognition at the event.
This event serves as one of the primary fund-raisers for the Mecosta County Area Chamber of Commerce.
